Network

Everything you do using a Virgin Mobile LTE-ready phone or tablet on the LTE network – like running apps, watching videos, and downloading files - will be faster, better and more awesome.

And, if you have an LTE Advanced-ready phone, you’ll be hittin’ peak download speeds of up to 335 Mbps (expected average: 12-60 Mbps).

LTE Advanced Network

Good to know:

  • Download speeds on the LTE network currently peak at 75 Mbps in some areas (expected average: 12‑25 Mbps) and up to 110 Mbps (expected average: 12‑36 Mbps) and 150 Mbps (expected average: 12‑40 Mbps) in others.
  • The LTE Advanced network will hit theoretical peak download speeds of up to 335 Mbps (expected average: 12‑60 Mbps) on next gen “CAT 6” phones like the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 and HTC One M9.
