UPGRADING IS SUPER SIMPLE!

IF YOU'RE ON A TERM AGREEMENT

When you get a new phone on a 2-year agreement, you get big time savings off the full retail price of your phone. In the past, this meant that you wouldn't have been eligible to get a new phone with the same major discount until you're near the end of your agreement.

You can upgrade to a new phone by paying off your remaining phone balance. Getting a new phone has never been easier.

Good to Know: A one-time upgrade processing fee ($40) applies with hardware upgrades. You may need to change your rate plan when you upgrade. Check in-store or My Account for more details.

How to check your eligibility or your remaining phone balance:

My Account app

  1. Download and open the My Account app
  2. Hit the red "+ icon at the bottom of your screen
  3. Tap 'Upgrade your phone'
  4. Select the phone you'd like to upgrade to and follow the next steps

My Account

  1. Head to virginmobile.ca/phoneupgrade and log in
  2. Hit the 'Upgrade now' button on the My Services tab
  3. Select the phone you’d like to upgrade to follow next steps

IF YOU'RE A PREPAID MEMBER

You can upgrade your phone at any time by paying the full retail price of a new one, just pop into any Virgin Mobile store to see our hot phones.

Or if you want to save some cash, you can always head to any Virgin Mobile store and do a credit check to see if you're good to move to a 2-year agreement in order to get a shiny new phone at a discounted price!
