VOICEMAIL VIA MMS
What is Voicemail via MMS?
Voicemail via MMS allows you to receive your voicemails as audio files via MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service). Instead of calling into your mailbox, you can play the audio file directly from your messages to hear a voicemail.
Voicemail via MMS is included in all current Virgin Mobile smartphone rate plans. There are no changes to the way you manage your mailbox (e.g. deleting messages, changing personal greeting, etc.), and you can still call into your mailbox to listen to your messages if you prefer.
Eligibility for Voicemail via MMS
All Virgin Mobile Members with Voicemail are eligible for this enhancement and will be automatically opted-in, with the exception of:
- a. Members who have data or MMS blocked or cannot receive MMS (which is the case for some older device models)
- b. Members who have the Voicemail to Text and/or Visual Voicemail add-ons
Members with Voicemail to Text and/or Visual Voicemail can manually opt in to Voicemail via MMS.
Heads up: Members must be connected to data to receive MMS. There’s no charge for the data used for Voicemail via MMS.
