"With over 65,000 homeless youth in Canada, we’re aiming to create lasting solutions and raise the funds needed to help fight youth homelessness across the country,” says Andrew Bridge, Managing Director, Virgin Mobile Canada. “By teaming up with amazing artists like Bedouin Soundclash, you can check out an amazing live show while also helping to make a difference for at-risk youth and create opportunities for them to have the brighter futures they deserve. We want everyone to come out and get involved with RE*Generation through text and donations to help fight youth homelessness in Canada.”

Proceeds from the show will support Virgin Unite partner Broadway Youth Resource Centre. Located in Vancouver, Broadway Youth Resource Centre is an integrated one-stop centre that provides a wide range of social, health, education, employment and life skills services to homeless and at-risk youth between the ages of 12 and 24.

“By getting involved with Virgin Unite and joining the RE*Generation Movement, we’re able to lend our support and music for a great cause,” says Bedouin Soundclash’s Jay Malinowski. “It’s time to make a change for at-risk youth and with this show, we can shine a light on great organizations like Broadway Youth Resource Centre while encouraging our fans to make a difference with RE*Generation!”

Tickets for the Bedouin Soundclash show on December 1, 2011 are $25 each (plus applicable service charges) and will be available for purchase online at www.ticketweb.com starting at 10:00 a.m. PST on October 21, 2011. Concertgoers must be 19 and doors will open at 8:00 p.m. PST. Whether or not they can make it to the show, Canadians can support Virgin Unite by texting REGEN to 30333 from their mobile phone to donate $5 for at-risk and homeless youth programs in Canada. Virgin Mobile’s RE*Generation Movement

In early 2008, Virgin Mobile Canada and Virgin Unite, the non-profit foundation of the Virgin group of companies, joined together to create the RE*Generation movement and empower a generation to help its own. We're bringing together organizations that care about Canada's homeless and at-risk youth and we're connecting them with people who want to help. RE*Generation is a movement to support solutions to youth homelessness and support at-risk youth programs in Canada. To date, over $800,000 has been raised and dispersed to leading youth serving agencies across the country. The RE*Generation movement is working with a number of Canadian charitable partners to help get kids off the streets and onto a path for a brighter future.
