VIRGIN FESTIVAL ONTARIO MOVES TO THE MOLSON AMPHITHEATRE!

Festival returns to Toronto due to fan demand to make it more accessible!

TORONTO (ONTARIO) August 13, 2009

  • Tickets start at $39.50 and include CNE admission ($15 value!)
  • Don't forget this is the last chance to catch Nine Inch Nails in Canada!

Virgin Festival Ontario, Canada's hottest summer music festival, announced today that its fifth and final festival of 2009 will now take place at THE MOLSON AMPHITHEATRE at Ontario Place in Toronto, Ontario on August 29 and 30.  The switch of venue is in response to the overwhelming response from festival-goers who have asked that this year's festival returns to the city of Toronto.

"Since we announced the details for Virgin Festival Ontario ticket sales haven’t been what we had hoped for," said Andrew Bridge, Director of Virgin Festival Canada. "We asked festival-goers why and they said that although the line-up and intended site are both awesome, they wanted the festival to return to Toronto this year to make it easier to access. We're delighted to announce that Virgin Festival Ontario will now take place at The Molson Amphitheatre on August 29 and 30!"

The line-up for Virgin Festival Ontario remains the same with two awesome stages and a host of stellar talent!  And don't forget as well as legendary rockers BEN HARPER & RELENTLESS7 and THE PIXIES, this is the last chance to catch the Industrial rock gods NINE INCH NAILS in Canada! In total more than 30 hot acts will rock out The Molson Amphitheatre at Ontario Place on August 29 and 30!
