How do Virgin companies work together?

Virgin Group companies share the same ideas and beliefs.

  • We genuinely want to make a difference for members.
  • We deliver quality service by empowering our people.
  • We love getting feedback, which helps us continually improve each member's experience through innovation. Contact us if you've got a problem or some hot new idea that we might be interested in.

Each Virgin company runs on its own, but we like to help out one another. It's a “you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours” situation. We share creative ideas and solutions from other Virgin companies around the world.

How do we do business?

We look for where we can offer something better, fresher, and more valuable. We often move into markets where people are getting ripped off, and where companies are looking out only for themselves. In fact, that's how Richard Branson builds companies: by looking for areas where he can give people a better deal. We also look to deliver “old” products and services in brand new ways. We put ourselves in your shoes to see what we could do to make things better…and then we do it!

Virgin is always on the lookout to link up with others to combine skills and knowledge. Each time we get it right we take those successes and look at how we can build on them in other markets where people need a helping hand. We even encourage people to bring us opportunities we haven't thought of. Got a great idea? We want to hear about it.

Once a Virgin company is up and running, lots of different things contribute to its success:

  • The power of the Virgin promise
  • Richard Branson’s drive and leadership
  • Our unrivalled network of friends, contacts, and partners
  • The Virgin management style
  • The way talent is recognized and encouraged to grow

Virgin has few management layers, no bureaucracy, and no colossal global HQ. Some traditionalists find that unconventional to say the least, and that’s just how we like it!
