Switching Over Is Super Easy

• What you need to know before transferring:
  • Check if your current phone is compatible with our network. If your phone isn’t compatible, then we’ve got the phones you really want.
  • If your phone is currently locked, it needs to be unlocked. Find out how to unlock your phone.
  • Don’t deactivate your mobile phone number! We’ll take care of that for you. If you deactivate first then we won’t be able to move you over.
• What you need to do:
  • Get a Virgin Mobile SIM card online or at a Virgin Mobile store near you. You can also give us a call at 1-888-999-2321.
  • Pick the monthly plan and features that work best for you.

• Transferring your mobile number can take 2-3 hours. Transferring a landline phone number can take a couple of days.
• We won’t charge you to switch (yay!) but your current company might charge you for leaving (boo!).

  • If you’re heading to a Virgin Mobile store we’ll be able to do it for you before you leave the store. You'll need to know your account number, serial number or password. The name on your new Virgin Mobile account has to match the old one 100%.
