Hey! If you're not totally happy with your current phone service provider you can switch to Virgin Mobile. And you can keep your phone number. We won't charge you to switch either. Here's what you need to know.

Switching your mobile number usually takes two to three hours, sometimes longer. Switching a landline takes at least a couple days. Best of all, we won’t charge you to switch. (Your existing phone company might, though, so make sure you find out before you switch.)

Because of Wireless Number Portability (WNP), you can keep your existing landline number or mobile phone number when you switch to a new mobile phone company. Numbers in most Canadian cities are available for switching right now.

If your phone number is active and you live in an area where we have coverage then you can move your phone number to Virgin Mobile. Not sure if you can switch
If you really, really, wanna switch but it looks like your number isn't good to go yet, you can visit the Number Portability Administration Centre (NPAC) website at npac.com and search for your area code and the first three digits of your phone number (for example, "416-555", remembering to include the hyphen). You can use the website to check back every couple of weeks to see if your number is eligible for switching to Virgin Mobile.
