How to do it on your smartphone

iphone®

Available on iOS 4.3 and higher for iPhones and tablets.

  • Go to Settings > Personal Hotspot
  • Turn your Personal Hotspot ON
  • Choose from "Turn on Wi-Fi" or "Bluetooth & USB only"
  • Enter a password (of your choice)
  • You're done!

Android™

Available on Android 2.2 and higher for Samsung Galaxy 551, HTC Sensation 4G, Samsung Galaxy S, Samsung Galaxy S II 4G, LG Optimus Chic, Samsung Gio, HTC Wildfire S, LG Eclypse, Galaxy Nexus and Tablets.

  • Go to Settings >Wireless & Networks > Tethering & Hotspot (name varies by device)
  • Check Wi-Fi Hotspot
  • Tap configure Hotspot > create a password and save
  • You’re done!
